As a member of the Heart of Hospice Data Analytics and Information Technology Team, you will serve as the critical liaison between the data and insights underlining our company’s success and the Leadership Team’s ability to actualize plans and operate efficiently. The Director of Project Management and Analytics is responsible for all aspects of Heart of Hospice’s analytics program and will assist in managing information technology projects. This role works collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team to successfully plan, launch, and manage information technology projects. This position designs and creates thoughtful, efficient, and informative reports that help Heart of Hospice transform end-of-life care by utilizing SQL, Power BI, and other Artificial Intelligence services. Successful candidates are attentive to detail with a knack for helping business executives translate and operationalize their ideas through BI reports and other resources.

The Position:

The Director of Project Management and Analytics is responsible for leading Heart of Hospice’s analytics program and assisting in the management of information technology projects. This role works collaboratively with our Senior Leadership Team to plan, launch, and manage information technology projects. The main function will be to design and create thoughtful, efficient, and informative reports that help Heart of Hospice transform end-of-life care by utilizing various analytics platforms. The Director of Project Management and Data Analytics will work alongside the Chief Technology Officer on a day to day basis to stratify project priorities. A successful candidate is attentive to detail, deft in time management, and works efficiently in high-stress environments. A strong candidate also communicates effectively with business executives to translate ideas into useful reports and resources.

The Responsibilities:

  • Managing data, including but not limited to creation, updates, and analysis
  • Generate accurate reports to meet the needs of business operations
  • Design tests and quality checks for all data elements of the company
  • Processes highly confidential data and information in compliance with company standards
  • Develop novel reports and data analysis for leadership
  • Manage Power BI and SQL environments to ensure data quality
  • Troubleshoot user issues with new and existing reports
  • Provide technical expertise on data storage, data mining, analytics tools, and AI solutions
  • Oversee large IT projects and manage vendor relationships and upgrades

The Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
  • Ability to understand and interpret business and user needs and communicate effectively with users to develop new solutions
  • Proficient in multitasking and meeting deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to take a project from idea to completion
  • Knowledge of SQL and analytics tools
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure
  • Knowledge of Power BI is preferred
