Regional Director of Business Development

The Regional Director of Business Development leads the execution of our Sales and Marketing plan to build relationships with referral sources in the communities we serve while spearheading the growth of our agencies and the overall growth of the organization. This candidate is responsible for leading all Directors of Business Development in Region Two. Region Two covers the state of Mississippi as well as parts of Arkansas and Oklahoma. This position will be comprised 80% of travel. Candidates are preferred from Mississippi.

The Position:

The Regional Director of Business Development will assist in leading our organization to achieve growth expectations according to revenue, census, and start of care budget goals. This position is also a key player in attaining the metric goals of Heart of Hospice’s Growth pillar and will model a strong dedication to reaching these goals for all other members of the organization’s Sales Team. The Regional Director of Business Development will attain these goals by leading all Directors of Business Development in their region, collaborating daily with other members of the Senior Sales Team, and working closely with Administrators, the Admissions Department, and the Senior Leadership Team.

The Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of three years of healthcare sales experience preferred
  • Multi-state health care sales experience preferred
  • Knowledge of hospice benefit or experience in hospice sales is a plus
