RN-Inpatient Unit-This opportunity it located in East Jefferson Hospital; this is a 15-bed hospice unit. Shift are 12 hrs/7days a week.

 RN-Inpatient Unit manages care plans, organizes, and directs hands-on, skilled nursing care by performing an initial comprehensive assessment and ongoing assessments of the needs of the patient and their family. Administers medications and treatments prescribed by the physician. Provides diet and other instructions as ordered by the physician. Assists the patient with the activities of daily living and facilitates the patient’s efforts toward self-sufficiency. A collaborative care plan is developed that establishes goals based on the interdisciplinary team’s recommendations and the patient’s desires. 


  • Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in good standings with no restrictions in the state
  • Two years’ experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Current CPR certification
  • Critical Care or hospice experience (Preferred)
