Admissions Administrative Assistant

The Admissions Administrative Assistant supports the Admissions Team in their day to day operations to help hospice-eligible patients get the care they need and deserve. Heart of Hospice offers a positive team environment with opportunities for growth and a compassionate leadership team.

The Position:

The Admissions Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting the day to day operations of the Admissions Team. A successful candidate for this role is a deft multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The Admissions Administrative Assistant must also have strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively while working as part of a team. Finally, a strong candidate will have a robust understanding of our database and the ability to learn quickly. The duties of the job include but are not limited to the role of secretary for the Admissions Department.

Requirements:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years prior healthcare experience
  • Technical knowledge of electronic health records
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Word
