The System Support Analyst helps our users with their technology, leads projects related to our growth in technology, creates and presents training from time to time on how to use our software and services, troubleshoots issues with our software and services, and is part of an amazing supportve team that will help you grow!

This position is full time, with great healthcare and vacation benefits. Salary is negotiable with experience and skill set.

The requirements include:

  • 2-Year Technical Degree required, 4-Year degree in Information Systems or related field preferred. Or at least 3 years of experience in a technical role. 
  • A love of technology and the ability to explain in easy terms to users how to fix items remotely with the highest standard of customer service.
  • Coding experience in mobile apps, PowerBI, SQL and web design are preferred additional skills; but not required.

Job Description Summary

The System Support Analyst is responsible for providing technical software and hardware support, training and troubleshooting to our remote field staff. They are also responsible for networking with our vendors and partners to launch new updates, improve the products we have and troubleshoot issues. In addition each System Support Analyst is responsible for IT projects as varied as managing inventory to a new product launch depending on skill set. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Acts as support to the entire Heart of Hospice family of companies, providing technical assistance to our users. Responds to user requests for service and determines nature and extent of support needed.
  • Provides all direct support to user or acts as a liaison between our employees and our vendors to ensure complete closure of all issues.
  • Installs, configures, maintains, and troubleshoots a wide range of software and SaaS applications throughout our operations. Performs hardware/software upgrades to existing services and systems as needed.
  • Trains users to understand our software at times to ensure a complete understanding of how things work to solve issues. Required to build documentation on internal and external processes and help guides to show users how to use certain software and SaaS applications.
  • Meets and advises management and other staff on process updates, special projects, and progress on implementation of assigned projects.
  • Manages assigned team based projects such as, managing inventory, ordering technology items for offices, doing email audits, user setup and removal, building computers, managing hardware corrections, or larger projects as needed.
  • Employees are required to keep up to date with the newest technology through learning and will be assigned some tasks each year to ensure continuous learning is achieved.
  • Maintains compliance by documenting accurately and timely within the organizations Ticketing system.
